What Is a Discovery Flight?

A Discovery Flight is a one-on-one introductory flight with an instructor. It for people who are curious about learning to fly and want a real introduction to the aircraft, the training environment, and the experience of being in the cockpit.

What to Expect

You will meet with an instructor, go over the basics of the aircraft and lesson, and spend time in the air experiencing what it is like sitting in the captains chair, seeing the world from a new point of view.

This is the best first step for people who want a real introduction to flight training before committing to a larger plan.

Your Discovery Flight includes one-on-one time with an instructor, an introduction to the aircraft and cockpit, and time in the air to experience what beginning flight training feels like.

What to Wear

Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. Sunglasses are recommended on bright days.

Weather and Rescheduling

Because safety comes first, flights may need to be rescheduled for weather or operational reasons. If that happens, we will work with you to find the next available time.
